The Urban EXCHANGE

Master plan for Downtown Bakersfield developed over a two-year span and based on research conducted over several years in downtown Bakersfield. The downtown master plan featured 3 parts: an overall master plan that divides the city into nine character zones, proposals for ‘anchor buildings’ in each character zone and finally the design of wayfinding, streetscape and landscape elements to tie the buildings and character zones together.
